SHS Palma Exchange: Getting stuck in!

Our Itinerary

TUESDAY 13th DEC

Leave from BOTANICAL GARDENS at 11:30.

Flight details:

Manchester Flight FR3445 Terminal 3 Ryanair

16:10 departure. Arrival time 19:50

WEDNESDAY 14TH DEC

Arrive at school at 08:00. Welcome breakfast.

At 10:00 leave for day trip to the weekly market at Sineu, followed by viewing a Spanish film.

Back to school at 16:00.

THURSDAY 15TH DEC

Arrive at school at normal time (08:00) and attend lessons with your partner

09:50. Students will then go to Esporles which is a small Mallorcan Palace dedicated to local traditions. Tasting of buñuelos (a type of doughnut). Then on to Valdemossa and tasting of the “cocas de patatas con chocolate”.

Visit to the monastery where George Sand and Frédéric Chopin stayed.

Return to school at 15:00.

Evening: With families.

FRIDAY 16TH DEC

Arrive at school at 08:00. Attend class until 08:55.

At 10:00 students will visit Palma’s historic royal palace “Almudaina”.

At 11:30 is a snack “la merienda” (included in the price) in the oldest bar in Palma, founded in 1700 called C’an Juan de S’Aigo.

At 12:30 visit the cathedral. Walk to the modern art gallery to visit the outside of the building.

Students will return to school at 15:00.

20:30 a meal at the Celler Sa Premsa, where we will all eat together.

SATURDAY 17TH & SUNDAY 18TH DEC

With families

MONDAY 19TH DEC

Go to school as normal in the morning and attend lessons until 10:45.

Families will collect and take students to the airport.

Meet at 11:00 in front of the Easyjet check in desks.

Flight EZY7144 DEPARTS 13:00

Coach to deliver back to Sheffield. If all goes well say 18:30 back at Botanical Gardens. Parents to be advised via text message of more accurate arrival time to Sheffield. Driver to advise.
